By Hero MotoCorp is planning to re-introduce the popular Karizma ZMR in the Indian market as the company released the first teaser of the upcoming model as the launch is going to take place on August 29th. The company had already showcased the new Karizma ZMR to the dealers at an event earlier this year. The Karizma name is one of the most popular models in the country with lots of fan following as it was one of the first performance motorcycles for the enthusiasts.
The Karizma ZMR follows the footsteps of its earlier models as it will be a fully faired bike with aggressive styling. The front gets LED headlamps but the handlebar is positioned slightly higher and the foot pegs are rear-set but not in the range of R15. Hero will offer a split seat configuration for the ZMR and the instrument cluster is expected to be a fully digital console with lots of information including in it real-time efficiency, and distance to empty to name a few.
According to reports, Hero Karizma ZMR is expected to be powered by a newly developed 210 cc liquid-cooled engine which is likely to be used in different sets of tunes on upcoming bikes. The power output is likely to be around 25 hp and 30 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox, these figure makes the ZMR much more powerful than the previous version. Hero is expected to price the Karizma ZMR aggressively as the bike misses out on lots of premium features.
