Mercedes Benz A Class and AMG A 45 S 4M+ Facelift In India

Mercedes Benz officially launched the facelift models of both A Class Limousine and AMG A 45 S performance hatchback in the Indian market. The changes for both these models are subtle as the A-Class Limousine gets an updated front grille with redesigned bumper along with tweaked air-intakes. The company has also added new alloy wheels while the rear gets LED tail lamps and updated bumper-to-round exterior changes.

The interior changes are minor as the dual 10.25-inch screens have been retained but the steering wheel is new and it gets touch-sensitive controls. The software has been updated to the latest MBUX system and the USB charging capacity is 20 per cent more than the earlier model. The company has added wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In terms of safety, Mercedes Benz has added seven airbags along with an optional knee airbag too.

The exterior changes for the AMG A45 include a new bumper along with updated air-intakes, 19-inch alloy wheels, tweaked LED tail lamps and a new bumper. Like the sedan, AMG A45 gets a new steering wheel and touch-sensitive buttons. Initially, Mercedes Benz will only offer petrol engines with A-Class and diesel will be introduced in Q4, 2023. The 1.3 L petrol engine in the sedan produces 163 hp and the 2.0 L turbo petrol engine on AMG A45 gets 421 hp.
