TVS officially launched an update for the iQube for the first time since it’s launch. With this update, TVS has introduced more variants, catering to a wider range of customers. The iQube line-up now offers options at both ends of the spectrum, starting with a base variant equipped with a 2.2kWh battery.
This variant boasts a real-world range of 75km, with a claimed charging time of just 2 hours from 0 to 80 percent, thanks to the inclusion of a 950W charger as standard.Priced at Rs 94,999, the base iQube model is now the most affordable option available in the line-up. It features a slightly lower top speed of 75kph, weighs 115kg, and offers a 30-litre underseat storage area.
For those seeking a larger battery capacity, there’s also a variant with a 3.4kWh battery available.Additionally, the iQube ST line-up has been expanded to include variants with capacities of 3.4kWh and 5.1kWh. The ST 3.4 variant offers a claimed real-world range of 100km and comes with a host of features including a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display with Alexa voice assist, digital document storage, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The range-topping ST 5.1 variant boasts the largest battery capacity of any Indian electric scooter, providing a real-world range of 150km on a single charge. It also offers a higher top speed of 82kph and features the same amenities as the ST 3.4 variant. However, with a price tag of Rs 1,85,373, it is the most expensive model in the line-up.To sweeten the deal for early adopters, TVS is offering customers who pre-booked the ST variant before July 15, 2022, an introductory loyalty bonus of Rs 10,000, applicable to both the 5.1kWh and 3.4kWh variants. This move aims to reward loyal customers while further incentivizing the adoption of electric vehicles in India.
