Royal Enfield Meteor 350 More Details Leaked, Launch Soon

Royal Enfield is gearing to launch the Meteor 350 soon in India. The cruiser motorcycle has been spotted ‘n’ number of times in public roads and one of the reasons for the delay of the launch is due to COVID-19. More details of the Meteor 350 has been leaked ahead of the launch including specifications. The design is somewhat evolution of the Thunderbird as the Bullet maker is promoting the upcoming model as an easy cruiser.

Some of the key highlights of the Meteor 350 is easy turning ability, smooth gear shifts, smooth and refined engine, low cost of ownership, leant back seating for relaxed posture, forward footpegs, low seat height and raised handlebar. The front gets round headlamps with orange colour indicators on either side. The handlebar is placed slightly higher along with forward-set footpegs and lean back seats for comfort.

The Meteor 350 comes with 41 mm telescopic forks at the front with 160 mm travel, which will be ideal for taking the cruiser off-roading. The fuel tank has a teardrop design and the capacity is 15 litres, which will give a good range for the cruiser motorcycle. The braking duties are taken care by 300 mm disc at the front and 270 mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS braking system as part of the standard feature.

The front gets the 19-inch wheel with 100/90 section tyre and 140/70 section 17-inch wheel at the rear. The tyres might be MRF like most of the other models in the same category. Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is powered by 349 cc single-cylinder engine producing 20.2 bhp of power at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The cruiser motorcycle will be available in three different variants and it is expected to be priced between 1.60 – 1.90 lakh (Ex-Showroom).
