By Porsche has officially opened bookings for the 911 (992.2) facelift model in India. The refreshed model is available in two distinct trims: Carrera and Carrera 4 GTS, each offering a unique blend of performance and luxury. The 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera is priced at Rs 1.99 crore. It features a 3.0-litre twin-turbo boxer engine that delivers 394 hp and 450 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed PDK automatic gearbox, sending power exclusively to the rear wheels.
On the other hand, the Carrera 4 GTS, costing Rs 2.75 crore, is equipped with the innovative T-Hybrid powertrain. It boasts a 3.6-litre six-cylinder engine with an electric turbocharger, generating a robust 541 hp and up to 610 Nm of torque. Power is transmitted through an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission to an all-wheel-drive system, complemented by rear-axle steering. The 911 Carrera includes a host of standard features designed to enhance driving comfort and safety. These include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, and 4-way adjustable sport seats with a heating function.
The braking system consists of 6-piston aluminium monobloc fixed callipers at the front and 4-piston fixed monobloc callipers at the rear. Additional features include Matrix LED headlamps, a reverse camera, cruise control, two-zone automatic climate control, TPMS, ISOFIX anchors, and an electric sunroof. The Carrera 4 GTS elevates the experience further with a Sport Chrono Package as standard, featuring an analogue and digital stopwatch, Sport Chrono clock with a unique dial, black shift paddles, and various driving modes such as Sport Plus and PSM Sport. It also includes the Porsche Track Precision App, tyre temperature display, Sport Response button, and integrated Sport Chrono tile for recording lap times and telemetry data.
The Carrera 4 GTS sets itself apart with additional sporty enhancements. It features a sports exhaust system, GT sports steering wheel, GTS logos on the headrests, blacked-out external logos, and Anthracite Grey wheels (20-inch front, 21-inch rear). The exterior is accentuated by the SportDesign package, which includes SportDesign side skirts. With these updates, the new Porsche 911 facelift not only brings refreshed aesthetics but also advanced technology and enhanced performance, catering to the discerning tastes of Indian luxury car enthusiasts.
