Nissan has expanded its Magnite lineup in India with the introduction of the Magnite Turbo Geza Special Edition CVT, priced starting at Rs 9.84 lakh. This special edition, originally introduced in May last year with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, now features the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. The Geza Special Edition draws inspiration from Japanese theatre, emphasizing an enhanced musical experience and it has been popular among customers.
The Magnite Geza comes with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a premium JBL audio system, and ambient lighting with app controls. Other notable features include a rear camera with trajectory lines, Geza edition badging, and optional beige seat upholstery, adding a touch of luxury to the interior. Under the hood, the Magnite Turbo Geza Special Edition CVT houses a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that delivers 100 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque.
This engine is coupled with a CVT automatic gearbox, ensuring smooth and efficient performance. The standard Magnite Turbo also offers a 5-speed manual transmission, which boosts the torque output to 160 Nm. In addition to the turbo-petrol variant, the Nissan Magnite is also available with a 72 hp, 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine option comes with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an optional 5-speed AMT, catering to a variety of driving preferences. The Nissan Magnite continues to offer a competitive pricing range, starting from Rs 6 lakh and going up to Rs 11.27 lakh (ex-showroom).
