Mahindra Scorpio N is one of the best-selling SUVs in the Indian market and now the company has officially announced a price hike for the model. Effective immediately, the price of the Scorpio N has been increased uniformly across various variants. The Z2 and Z4 versions, available in both petrol and diesel configurations, along with the Z6 diesel variant, have each seen a price hike of Rs. 25,000. Additionally, the Z8 2WD versions, regardless of whether they are petrol or diesel, have experienced a price increase of Rs. 10,000 each.
With these adjustments, the pricing of the Mahindra Scorpio N now starts at Rs. 13.85 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry-level Z2 petrol MT 7S variant. The top-of-the-line Z8L diesel AT 4WD 7S variant is now priced at Rs. 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom). The Scorpio N is available in six variants: Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, Z8S, and Z8L, offering a range of options for customers. The price revision reflects Mahindra’s strategic response to various market factors, including increased production costs and supply chain challenges.
Despite the hike, the Scorpio N continues to be a strong contender in the SUV segment, known for its robust build, advanced features, and off-road capabilities. This move follows similar price adjustments by other automakers in the Indian market, highlighting a broader trend of rising vehicle prices. Potential buyers of the Scorpio N and other Mahindra models may need to recalibrate their budgets to accommodate these changes. We can expect the company to increase price of other models too.
