By Mahindra XUV 3XO continues to be on the headlines for all the good reasons as the company has delivered 1500 XUV 3XO in a single day, which is a big achievement as the earlier model was not selling really well. The Indian manufacturer has already received more than 50,000 bookings for the XUV 3XO and the numbers are expected to grow at a good pace. The popularity of the XUV 3XO is underscored by the high waiting periods for some variants, extending up to six months, according to dealers.
The AX5 trim is equipped with features such as 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, dual-zone climate control, a reverse camera, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and electrically adjustable wing mirrors. Prices for the AX5 variants start at Rs 10.69 lakh. The AX5 L variants, starting from Rs 11.99 lakh, offer additional advanced features including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, and a cooled glove box. Despite these enhancements, these variants do not include the XUV 3XO’s ‘first-in-class’ panoramic sunroof, suggesting that customers prioritize practical convenience features over luxury add-ons.
Interestingly, the top-spec AX7 and AX7 L variants, which do include the panoramic sunroof, have also garnered a fair number of bookings in certain cities, though not as many as the mid-spec trims. Popular exterior paint choices among buyers include Everest White and Nebula Blue, followed by Gravity Grey and Stealth Black. Deliveries for the mid-spec AX5, AX5 L, MX3, and MX3 Pro trims will begin on May 26. However, despatches for the entry-level MX1, MX2, and MX2 Pro trims, as well as the top-spec AX7 and AX7 L variants, have not yet started. The base variants are expected to be dispatched by mid to late June, with the top-tier trims following by late June or early July.
