Kawasaki To Introduce Updated W175 At IBW 2023

Kawasaki W175 is the most affordable motorcycle of the Japanese brand in the Indian market. Now the company has shared a new teaser of an upcoming bike and the only thing visible is the alloy wheels from the image. According to new reports, this could be the updated W175 and the official launch is going to take place at India Bike Week 2023, which will take place later this week. Apart from this, we can expect Kawasaki to showcase their entire lineup of motorcycles at IBW and maybe some new models too.

The updated W175 changes are limited to aesthetics as the major update could be the alloy wheels and tubeless tyres as they replace the spoke wheels on the current model. Apart from this, Kawasaki will introduce some new colour options on the W175 and new graphics to give it a fresh feel as the current model comes with just two colours – Black and Candy Persimmon Red. The design theme of the W175 is inspired by retro models as it makes the bike stand out from its competitors.

The W175 is powered by a 177 cc single-cylinder engine producing 12.8 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 13.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Kawasaki W175 has 30 mm telescopic forks at the front and Hydraulic type dual-rating spring shock absorbers at the rear. The braking duties are taken care of by a 270 mm disc at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The black variant is currently priced at Rs. 1.47 lakh (Ex-Showroom) and the price is expected to go up slightly with new updates.
