It derives its design from the Ocean X concept that was showcased in 2021. it is built on the brand’s born e-platform ( platform 3.0). The vehicle is designed so efficiently for better aerodynamics that the free flow design of the vehicle makes the aero drag coefficient of merely 0.29 cd. The sleeker headlight and flush door handles also help in the better aerodynamics of the vehicle and also the better stance of the vehicle.

The BYD Seal, like the Atto 3, features a rotating 15.6-inch infotainment display in the centre console, as well as a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The primary touchscreen is surrounded by air conditioning vents, while a scroll wheel and driving mode selection are located below it.
