Bajaj is updating its entire portfolio of Pulsar motorcycles as the competition is heating up with the introduction of newer models. The Indian manufacturer recently launched the updated N150 and N160 while the NS200 was upgraded less than one year before. Now the company has teased a new motorcycle on its social media pages but didn’t mention which model it is. Some reports indicate that the motorcycle could be the long-awaited NS400 as the naked motorcycle has been in the pipeline for some time now.
The company currently has Dominar 400 in the segment but this motorcycle focuses on touring rather than performance. From the teaser video, the motorcycle looks exactly similar to other Pulsar models in the portfolio. The motorcycle comes with upside-down forks but the NS200 also comes with it so there could be a chance it might be the updated NS200. Apart from this, the clip-on-handle bar and the semi-digital instrument cluster can’t be confirmed for sure but look similar to the NS200.
One of the biggest updates for the N150 and N160 is the introduction of Bluetooth connectivity as it is one of the features which was missing from Bajaj motorcycles for a very long time as most of the competitors had already offered it. If the rumours are accurate about the upcoming motorcycle, the NS400 could use the same engine that is used in the KTM 390 Duke but the tuning could be different. The gearbox is likely to be a 6-speed unit. Bajaj is expected to introduce the new NS400 later this month.
